Bogota, August of 2018. – Acquire housing in Colombia today "it’s possible", assured the organizers of the XIII edition of Gran Salon Inmobiliario - International Fair, the main platform of the real estate sector in Colombia, where new buyers, investors and professionals of the sector know first-hand the latest trends in the sector and make trade agreements at national and international level.
"The real estate construction should expand at a rate of 4.6% per annum after the 2.3% registered in 2017, this indicates that it will grow almost twice over the economy as a whole (...) At this moment it can be said that there is a favorable macroeconomic environment for the sector thanks to various factors such as the decreasing trend of the mortgage interest rate, improvement in investment, stable monetary policy, recovery of confidence indicators and continuity in the subsidy for the middle segment", indicated Andrés Martínez, Executive President (E) of the Lonja de Bogotá.
Commercial premises, offices, apartments and lots are still on the list of major real estate investments in the country. The government subsidy policy, the reduction in inflation and the possibility that buyers have to pay the initial installment in terms of up to 30 months, make that more Colombians are encouraged to acquire housing for the first time or make capital investment in the country or internationally.
"During this new edition we will have easy access to mortgage loans for new or used homes, real estate investment options in the United States, Panama, Curacao, Spain, the Dominican Republic, training on real estate issues and information related to the sector", said the project manager of Gran Salon Inmobiliario - International Fair.
The fair organized by the International Business and Exhibition Center of Bogotá - Corferias in association with La Lonja de Propiedad Raíz de Bogotá, will have an auction of 400 properties in and around Bogotá, a pavilion for the Bogota savannah and Risaralda, new projects national and international, a complete academic agenda with the latest trends in the sector, waiting to gather 26,000 visitors.
"Our visitors and exhibitors will be able to expand their network of contacts nationally and internationally during the trade show and generate new business opportunities in a safe, reliable and profitable manner with the best financing alternatives for the acquisition of all types of real estate", concluded the project manager of Gran Salon Inmobiliario - International Fair.
