The Colombian regions present at the seventh edition of Createx 2025
From June 11 to 13, Corferias will host the seventh edition of Createx 2025, the specialized trade fair for the textile and apparel sector in Colombia. This year, the fair will feature significant participation from various regions of the country, reflecting the richness, diversity, and strength of the national textile industry. Createx consolidates its position as a meeting point for the national fashion ecosystem with each edition.
The Colombian textile industry has a deep connection with its regions, which contribute resources, skilled labor, traditional knowledge, and production approaches that enrich the textile ecosystem. These contributions generate local employment, promote innovation, and strengthen regional economic development.
According to Lilian Conde, Createx project manager: “The participation of regional companies in the fair is essential to strengthening the local production ecosystem. This fair is not only a showcase for their products and services, but also a platform for generating alliances, opening markets, and positioning companies in a competitive environment.”
In short, the textile and apparel ecosystem in Colombia is experiencing a positive trend in terms of household spending. This can be highlighted according to data from the Inexmoda Observatory, which, as of March 2025, shows that Colombian household spending on fashion reached 2.77 trillion pesos, representing a 7.91% increase compared to March 2024. In real terms, this growth was 5.18%, driven by a 2.60% increase in prices.
These figures suggest an optimal growth outlook for Colombian regions, especially those that are part of the national textile and fashion ecosystem, which will also be present at Createx 2025. Below are the participating regions and their contributions to the sector:
