Autofest 2025 opens its doors and marks the beginning of the journey toward the mobility of the future

Barranquilla, November 6, 2025. — With outstanding participation from the sector's leading brands, Autofest 2025 opened its doors at the Puerta de Oro Event Center, consolidating its position as the leading showcase for the automotive industry in the Colombian Caribbean.

The fair, which will run until Sunday, November 9, brings together more than 60 exhibitors: 36 brands and 26 dealerships presenting their latest innovations in electrification, connectivity, and design. 

The opening day began with the presentation of the Audi Q5 Sportback, a model that combines elegance, power, and advanced technology. This SUV incorporates a Mild Hybrid Plus system, which improves efficiency and reduces emissions, as well as a revamped digital experience with high-definition screens and intelligent driver assistance.

On the same day, Honda Autos – Fanalca presented the CR-V Advanced Hybrid, a vehicle that integrates two electric motors and one gasoline engine, offering a smooth, quiet, and efficient ride without the need for external charging.

The new CR-V Hybrid offers the best of both worlds: performance, economy, and comfort in a vehicle designed for cleaner and more enjoyable driving," said Claudia Frasser, national sales manager at Honda Autos – Fanalca S.A. 
 
Launches that marked the opening day

The first day also included presentations by Volkswagen and Kia, which showcased their electric and hybrid vehicle lines, reaffirming their leadership in sustainable mobility in the Colombian market.

The agenda continues tomorrow, Friday, November 7, with the launches of the Ford Territory 2026 (Autoland Ford), Chevrolet Onix and Tracker 2026, FAW Bestune Joy 03 (Gev Group), and the latest from JAC EV and Jetour (Automotores Fujiyama). On Saturday, November 8, the focus will be on electric mobility with the Chevrolet Captiva EV and Nissan e-Power, among others. 

The fair will remain open until Sunday, November 9, an ideal day to enjoy with the family, visit the stands, participate in interactive experiences, and make the decision to buy a new vehicle together under the slogan “Autofest para Estrenar” (Autofest for New Vehicles).
