Andina Pack 2025 powered by Anuga FoodTec reaffirmed its role as the international stage for the future of the industry
After four days focused on innovation, knowledge, high-value connections, and business opportunities, the 18th edition of Andina Pack came to a close. The event reaffirmed its role as an epicenter for the future of the food and beverage, pharmaceutical, and cosmetics industries, showcasing innovative solutions in packaging, printing, intralogistics, and labeling.
The trade show integrated innovation, knowledge, and business, driving the development of the entire processing value chain and generating new alliances, learning opportunities, and perspectives for the sector's growth in the region.
Approximately 21,000 attendees explored the pavilions at Corferias, gaining firsthand knowledge of the latest trends in machinery, packaging, automation, and sustainability. They also connected with industry leaders and experts to strengthen business networks, attend conferences and demonstrations on production efficiency and clean technologies, and explore solutions geared toward competitiveness and sustainable growth. Regarding this, Ana Linda Garibello, project manager at Corferias, highlighted: “The success of this fair lay in the capacity of the national industry, which responded with dynamism and innovation to the challenges of the sector. Their proposals reflected a strong commitment to Colombia and to the automation, digitalization, and sustainability of the industry, creating solutions that strengthen competitiveness.”
In this edition, the fair expanded its exhibition area and incorporated a new pavilion, which brought together sectors such as Food and Beverage Processing, Technology, and Packaging Products and Materials.
Regarding the event's growth, Gerald Böse, CEO and President of Koelnmesse GmbH, stated: “Visiting Andina Pack and seeing firsthand the results of our partnership with Corferias reaffirmed the enormous potential that exists in Colombia, Latin America, and the Caribbean. At Koelnmesse, we firmly believe in the power of trade fairs to energize economies, open markets, and connect companies with new opportunities. As an international partner, our mission is clear: to facilitate the entry of global brands into the region and offer Latin American companies a real, sustainable, and strategic platform for their expansion. Today, Andina Pack is a solid bridge between continents, and we are proud to continue strengthening this ecosystem that drives the success of our exhibitors and the growth of the industry.”
Additionally, the fair was the setting for the commemoration of the 10th anniversary of the partnership between Corferias and Koelnmesse, one of the most memorable moments of Andina Pack 2025. This celebration symbolized a decade of collaborative work that has strengthened cooperation between Colombia and Germany. This collaboration has been key to connecting industries, opening markets, and positioning Colombia as an international meeting point for Latin America's productive sectors.
International Impact
This year, Andina Pack strengthened its relevance and global reach thanks to an even closer communicative and visible integration with Anuga FoodTec, the leading international trade fair for food and beverage technology held in Cologne, Germany. This expanded collaboration provided greater experience, international exposure, and a high-level network that has significantly boosted the exchange and growth of the ecosystem throughout Latin America.
Reflecting its international character, the fair featured 602 exhibitors from 24 countries, including the United States, Spain, Germany, Mexico, Brazil, Peru, Italy, India, Lithuania, Turkey, France, and China. It was a space where the universal language of business was spoken, and where companies, suppliers, and buyers established strategic connections, shared knowledge, and generated new business opportunities.
ProColombia led a successful business matchmaking event with the participation of 60 international buyers from 13 countries and 229 Colombian exporters. A total of 643 business meetings took place, generating commercial expectations of over US$7 million.
Locally, the Secretariat of Economic Development participated with five booths for the “Bogotá Productive Heart” program in Pavilion 1, Level 1, promoting entrepreneurship and productivity in the capital. Meanwhile, the Bogotá Chamber of Commerce, through its Printing and Packaging Cluster, had a presence in Pavilion 3, Level 2, with 16 booths that fostered collaboration and strengthened the local industrial ecosystem.
